Oracle Application DBAs
Multiple needs
for Oracle Applications DBAs. Responsibilities include:
-
Oracle RDBMS
and Applications installation, patching, tuning, and troubleshooting
including supporting operating systems and hardware.
-
Responsible
for development, implementation, testing, and troubleshooting of Oracle
RDBMS and operating system backup and recovery strategy. Others handle
the actual tape management.
-
Act as
technical liaison between Oracle support and functional users to solve
Oracle Applications issues.
-
Provide
technical assistance to developers in investigation, analysis and
resolution of database problems.
-
Developing and
maintaining database replication schemes.
-
Responsible to
maintain and repair application data integrity in coordination with
developers and functional employees.
-
Responsible
for developing, testing, and maintaining IT disaster recovery plan.
-
Coordinate
with hardware vendors to troubleshoot and repair hardware related issues
affecting database/application environment.
