In 1991, BPS was established with a goal
of establishing a different type of Information Technology Services
firm. As a former IT consultant and a top
producer at one of the nation’s largest placement firms, the President
of BPS held a different view of IT Services firms and their role in a
company's success. From the beginning, she saw a company's IT
department as an integral part of an organization's strategy and
stressed that BPS needed to understand their clients' business in depth.
Our focus on a consultative approach; profiling the organization's
culture, writing detailed “project” specs and working with clients to
create a smooth transition, has lead to policies and practices that are
now industry standards.
Since inception, BPS has proudly remained
a small, local, privately held firm. Even though BPS has grown
significantly throughout the years, now having the capability to work on
assignments and projects nationally, we maintain our small company
